Status Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and online booking, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

When you book an appointment, we collect the details you provide:

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Your selected service, preferred date and time, and any notes you add for your barber.

If you create an account or sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that provider so we can identify you and show your appointment history. We never receive your social account password.

Payments are processed securely by Square. We do not collect or store your full card details — those are handled by Square under its own privacy policy.

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the site (for example, a secure session cookie when staff sign in to the admin area). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm and manage your appointments.
  • To contact you about your booking — confirmations, reminders and any changes.
  • To keep accurate business and accounting records.
  • To improve our services and your experience.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:

  • Square — to process payments and refunds.
  • Google & Facebook — to sign you in, if you choose social login.
  • Google Maps — our location section embeds a Google map; Google may collect data in line with its own policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data retention

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which they are securely removed.

5. Your rights & choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

6. Deleting your data

You can ask us to permanently delete the personal data we hold about you — your account details and your booking history — at any time.

To request deletion of your data:

  • Email Statusaldo@gmail.com from the email address you used to book or sign in.
  • Use the subject line "Data deletion request".

We will confirm your request and remove your data within 30 days. Some records may be kept where the law requires it (for example, tax and accounting records); these are securely deleted once that period ends.

If you signed in with Google or Facebook, deleting your data here removes it from Status Studio. You can also remove our app from your account at any time in that provider's settings.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Children's privacy

Appointments for minors — such as kids' haircuts — should be booked by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
